Q. My Parents are becoming very forgetful, Mum always forgets to take her medicines, can MemRabel help her?
A. Yes. MemRabel can play back a message recorded from your voice at a time of day of your choosing. In fact, you can record up to four different messages and set four different daily or weekly play back times. With a friendly familiar voice Mum is more likely to respond to the reminder.
Q. We have tried a conventional alarm clock with my Father to remind him when he should go to bed as he frequently falls asleep in his chair and wakes up confused in the middle of the night. It would be good to have an alarm that would notify us should he not switch off a alarm. Can MemRabel help us?
A. Yes. MemRabel can control a telephone auto dialler that would call you if your Father failed to press an alarm stop button. You would record a message such as “Time to go to bed Dad”, then set a time for message playback. MemRabel allows you to select an alarm duration of 3 minutes, 6 minutes, or 9 minutes. If the message playback button is not pressed before the expiry of the selected alarm duration, the dialler would call your telephone number.
